⁣Snails are found everywhere around Africa especially in the rural areas where a lot of bushes and farmlands are found. Although repulsive to many people, snails are consumed all over the world and are very healthy to eat. ⁣ Snails are naturally high in protein and low in fat content. They are estimated to contain 15% protein, 2.4% fat and about 80% water. They are low in fat, carbohydrate-free and sugar-free, an excellent source of rich iron, magnesium, selenium, phosphorus and potassium.⁣ Snails are also a good source of tryptophan, an amino acid that helps the brain produce serotonin. Serotonin is a very important neurotransmitter that plays a role in your body’s regulation of sleep impulse and appetite.⁣ It is interesting to know that snails possess anti-cancer properties and boost the immune system due to their antioxidants and anti-inflammatory effects.⁣ 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐛𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐧𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐬:⁣ 𝟏.
